Fiverr International Ltd., (NYSE: FVRR), the company that is changing how the world works together, today announced the opening of its 5th industry store and celebrated 300 categories in its unique service-as-a-product catalog. Expanding the catalog is a key lever for Fiverr’s growth and this major milestone marks progress towards this goal. In addition to new categories, Fiverr is proud to launch a new industry store focused on influencers and all the services they need to build their online presence. The Influencer Store joins Gaming, E-Commerce, Architecture, and Politics to become the fifth industry store on Fiverr.
Co-founder and CEO Micha Kaufman started Fiverr ten years ago with the simple idea that people should be able to buy and sell digital services in the same fashion as physical goods with an e-commerce like experience. Fast forward almost a decade, Fiverr is now a global platform that spans 160 countries with a community in the millions. Since its founding in 2010, the Fiverr platform has helped millions of people around the world with everything from graphic design to digital marketing and on the other end, it has helped hundreds of thousands of skilled people monetize their skills. Moreover, when looking at Interbrand’s list of the Top 100 Brands of 2019, 74 percent of them have placed an order on Fiverr.
“Businesses of all sizes and sectors use Fiverr. They all love our friction-free e-commerce experience of buying digital services in just one click and in under 15 minutes – instead of the 30 days it takes just to find and hire a freelancer elsewhere,” said Micha Kaufman, Fiverr CEO. “With the addition of new vertical stores, we are expanding our platform to a new group of customers from new industries. For many of these customers, Fiverr is an extension of their teams, allowing them to flexibly add capabilities to get projects done quickly, cost-effectively and transparently.”
Following the successful launch of specialty stores for industries such as gaming and e-commerce, the company is launching its fifth store focused on the growing influencer community. The global influencer marketing industry is estimated to be worth up to $15 billion by 2022, up from roughly $8 billion in 2019. Every platform from Instagram and Facebook to YouTube and LinkedIn attracts influencers. In many cases, these people are solopreneurs, managing their business on their own and they often need help managing and maintaining their status on these platforms. That ranges from blogging, SEO, video editing, social media management and more. The influencer store will feature services that help them to scale and grow their online channels. There are four sub-stores that are hyper-focused on:
Fiverr has been heavily focused on expanding its catalog of digital services in 2019.
